The center for children in alternative care is located in Dimitrovgrad, Bulgaria and has a capacity for 16 children. The building is divided into three main functional groups: cooking & eating, living and recreational. The latter consists of library, sports hall and a yard, the living zone consist of autonomous living units for up to 4 childrens with one adult, the cooking and eating area consists of a kithen, a dining room and storages. The living units are provided for 4 specific age groups.
